Terms of Service
Effective August 13, 2026
Using Poliscope
You may use Poliscope only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for your account, keeping credentials secure, and activity performed through it. Do not disrupt the service, evade limits, scrape in violation of published rules, probe for vulnerabilities, or use Poliscope to harm others.
Research and public records
Poliscope combines public records and third-party source material. Data may be incomplete, delayed, corrected, or attributed differently by its original source. A contribution, filing, contract, vote, sponsorship, trade, or documented relationship does not by itself prove motive, causation, wrongdoing, support, or opposition. Verify important conclusions against the linked primary sources. If you find a mistake, email support@poliscope.org and we will review it.
AI-generated answers
Research answers may be generated with AI from retrieved evidence. They can contain errors and are provided for informational research, not legal, financial, investment, medical, electoral, or other professional advice. Source links and stated limitations are part of the answer.
Intellectual property
Poliscope software, design, branding, and original content are owned by Poliscope or its licensors. Public records remain subject to their source terms. These terms do not grant a right to use Poliscope trademarks or redistribute restricted third-party content.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, and may suspend accounts that create security, legal, or operational risk. Beta and unreleased features may change without notice.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Poliscope is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness, or uninterrupted availability. Poliscope and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
