Oppose H.J.Res.44, the Congressional Review Act, Resolution of Disapproval of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Planning 2.0 Rule, which would diminish public participation in how the BLM manages public lands. Oppose provisions within HR 2936, the so-called Resilient Federal Forests Act of 2017, that would remove protections for a national monument and are a backdoor attack on our national monuments and the Antiquities Act. Support for the Endangered Species Act, which is facing unprecedented threats. Oppose the Interior Departments review of national monuments and any attempts to rescind or shrink national monuments. Oppose the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Exchange Act (S. 131/H.R. 513) and reject any legislative attempt that would privatize the Tongass National Forest. Express concern about the process set forth in the Interior Secretarial Order 3349 to review or rescind commonsense memoranda, orders and regulations (agency actions) concerning oil and gas development and other management issues on our public lands. Oppose H.J.Res.44, the Congressional Review Act, Resolution of Disapproval of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Planning 2.0 Rule, which would diminish public participation in how the BLM manages public lands. Support H.R. 1889, the Udall-Eisenhower Arctic Wilderness bill. Oppose H.R. 218, the King Cove Road Land Exchange Act, which would force construction of a destructive road through the heart of Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. Oppose H.R. 1157, which would remove lands and waters in Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge from federal public ownership. Oppose H. J. Res. 69, the Congressional Review Act Resolution of Disapproval to rescind the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Alaska National Wildlife Refuges Rule. Support S.820, a bill to designate a portion of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge as wilderness. Oppose S. 33, Senator Murkowski's bill which would undermine the Antiquities Act.

We urge you to oppose H. J. Res. 69, the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to rescind the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services (FWS) Alaska National Wildlife Refuges Rule. Voiding this vital rule would jeopardize iconic species in Alaska, subvert fundamental environmental laws and undermine management of federal public lands. H. J. Res. 69 is a blatant attempt to cede control of Americas wildlife on over 76 million acres of national wildlife refuges in Alaska to appease narrow state interests, and could have drastic implications for federal management of public trust resources across the country.
