Discussed the distinct value of occupational therapy in providing recovery-oriented mental and behavioral health services and why occupational therapy practitioners should be a required part of the interdisciplinary staff at the newly created CCDBHCs. Met with White House, Executive office of the President: Christen Linke Young, Adviser, Domestic Policy Council - discussed rehabilitation/habilitation benefit as it relates to ACA qualified health plans. Met with HHS, Administration for Community Living - Vikki Gottlich, Director of the Center for Policy and Evaluation: discussed rehabilitation/habilitation benefit as it relates to ACA qualified health plans.
