HR 4525 (the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act or TEAPA) and potential Senate companion; all provisions related to and supporting ending the suffering of animals in US traveling performances, rides, or exhibits, and to address the inherent health and safety risks such events pose to workers and the public. Support the following bills to the extent they protect animals from harm and end animal suffering, and as yet unknown issues related to ADI's overarching goal for longstanding change to end animal suffering: HR847/S395 (PUPS Act re dog breeding & puppy mills), HR996/S1153 (Invasive Fish and Wildlife Prevention Act), HR366/S666 (Animal Fighting Spectator Prohibition Act), HR1518/S1406 (PAST Act re equine soring), HR1998/S1381 (Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act), HR2856/S1463 (Captive Primate Safety Act), HR4148 (Humane Cosmetics Act), HR5454 (TUSKERS re trade sanctions related to ivory); HR2293 PACT (re the prosecution of animal cruelty); HR746/S388 AWARE (re testing at federal agricultural research facilities); and in opposition to (for the same reasons) S405 (Sportsmen's Act).
