H.R. 1380 - Big Cat Public Safety Act
This bill amends the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 to prohibit any person from breeding or possessing prohibited wildlife species (i.e., any live species of lion, tiger, leopard, cheetah, jaguar, or cougar or any hybrid of such species). Breeding means facilitating propagation or reproduction (whether intentionally or negligently), or failing to prevent propagation or reproduction.
S. 877 - Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act
This bill makes it illegal to possess, buy, sell, or transport shark fins or any product containing shark fins, except for certain dogfish fins. A person may possess a shark fin that was lawfully taken consistent with a license or permit under certain circumstances.
H.R. 1568 - Save Right Whales Act
To assist in the conservation of the North Atlantic right whale by supporting and providing financial resources for North Atlantic right whale conservation programs and projects of persons with expertise required for the conservation of North Atlantic right whales, and for other purposes.
H.R. 7876 - Polar Bear Cub Survival Act-
To amend Public Law 115-97 to prohibit oil and gas activities within one mile of polar bear maternal den habitat, and for other purposes.
H.R. 8632 - Ocean Based Climate Solutions Act- To direct the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to provide for ocean-based climate solutions to reduce carbon emissions and global warming; to make coastal communities more resilient; and to provide for the conservation and restoration of ocean and coastal habitats, biodiversity, and marine mammal and fish populations; and for other purposes.

H.R. 7608 -- FY21 Interior and Environment Division Appropriations Bill
-Alaska Wilderness League Action supported 3 provision in underlying bill:
The Arctic Refuge provision (Sec. 117) requires a minimum bid amount on what companies must pay to lease a piece of the Arctic Refuges fragile coastal plain. This is an important provision that would hold Congress accountable for the promises made when Arctic National Wildlife Refuge leasing was jammed through Congress in an unrelated tax package in 2017.
The Tongass provision (Sec. 434) would end taxpayer subsidies for any roadbuilding activity including design, study or construction of roads for logging in the Tongass National Forest in Southeast Alaska. For decades, the timber industry in the Tongass has quietly benefited from hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, much of it covering costs associated with building logging roads that serve no public benefit.
The Offshore Drilling provision (Sec. 119) would prevent the Secretary of Interior and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management from conducting or authorizing oil and gas preleasing, leasing, or related activities in any planning area that didnt have proposed leases in the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas leasing program. This includes the Arctic Ocean where the Trump administration is trying to hold 6 leases sales over the next 5 years.
-Alaska Wilderness League Action opposed Amendment 2 (Rep. Newhouse) that tried to strip the Arctic Refuge and Tongass provisions during full committee mark-up.
H.R. 7617 -- FY21 Energy and Water Division Appropriations Bill
-Alaska Wilderness League Action supported 1 amendment:
The Pebble Mine Amendment 50 would prohibit the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from issuing a Record of Decision for Pebble Mine - the disastrous proposed gold and copper mine in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
