Gun Show Background Check Act of 2008

The Coalition lobbied in support of H.R. 96 and S. 2577, bills that would have closed the "Gun Show Loophole." We also supported H.R. 328 and H.R. 1433, separate versions of the "D.C. House Votings Rights Act." We lobbied in opposition to H.R. 6691, the "Second Amendment Enforcement Act," and an amendment that Senator Tom Coburn offered to S. 2483 that would have allowed individuals to carry loaded handguns in National Parks.
