Support the Endangered Species Act, which is facing unprecedented threats. Oppose the Interior Departments recommendations regarding rescinding or shrinking national monument protections. Oppose the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Exchange Act (S. 131/H.R. 513) and reject any legislative attempt that would privatize the Tongass National Forest. Oppose H.R. 1157, which would remove lands and waters in Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge from federal public ownership. Oppose H.R. 3990, the National Monument Creation and Protection Act, which changes the Antiquities Act to make it easier to block designations. Support S. 2354, the ANTIQUITIES ACT of 2018, which codifies existing, presidentially-designated national monuments. Oppose H.R. 3115, the Superior National Forest Land Exchange Act of 2017, which would transfer National Forest lands to a mining company. Oppose H.R. 4558, the Grand Staircase Escalante Enhancement Act, which would codify President Trumps removal of protections for that national monument. Oppose H.R.4532, which would codify the elimination of vast portions of the Bears Ears National Monument. Oppose H.R. 3133, which would weaken the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Oppose Section 2029 of H.R. 4667, which erodes FEMAs responsibilities under the Endangered Species Act. Oppose S. 2206, the Protect Public Use of Public Lands Act, which would strip protections of National Forest land in Montana. Support the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), which encourages bird conservation. Oppose S. 1520, the Modernizing Recreational Fisheries Management Act, which would undermine the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. Oppose H.R. 3144, which deals with the Federal Columbia River Power System and would undermine the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. Oppose H.R. 200, legislation to reauthorize the Magnuson-Stevens Act that threatens decades of sustainable fisheries management. Oppose attempts to exempt the Tongass National Forest in Alaska from the Roadless Area Conservation Rule. Oppose attacks on Endangered Species Act in H.R. 4, the Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2018. Oppose H.R. 3916, which would amend the Endangered Species Act to transfer management of numerous fish species and threaten protections for them. Oppose HRs 3608, 6344, 6345, 6346, 6354, 6355, 6356, 6360, and 6364, which as a package would dramatically weaken the Endangered Species Act.
