On behalf of the Government of the US VIrgin Islands, I lobbied the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee to strengthen support for the continuation of the rum tax extenders provision in the code. I also lobbied Members of the House Ways and Means Committee in support of draft legislation revising the residency and source income tests for Virgin Islands residents.

Monitored Senate HELP Education subcommittee action a Harkin sponsored early childhood education provision. The objective to be receive conformation that the territory was considered and included in any education provisions that my be considered during this Congress.

Lobbied the Senate HELP Committee to insure that the territories were included in the 2013 Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
