EPA Safer Choice program - CSPA representatives met with a Member, the personal staff of two Members and the professional staff of the Senate and House Appropriations Committees urging adequate funding for the program. CSPA met with Administrator Pruitt and senior EPA staff to: (1) express support for the program, (2) discuss ways to build more flexibility into the Safer Choice program, and (3) develop a path for antimicrobials to be included in the program. S. 263 and H.R. 806, the Ozone Standards Implementation Act of 2017 - the two bills would establish a more reasonable timeframe for implementing the 2015 ozone standards and would change the review cycle for the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) from five years to 10 years.
