We advocate for the creation of new grant programs to fund port electrification projects to reduce carbon and particulate emissions from port operations. We have lobbied on the Hydrogen for Ports Act (H.R.7065, S.3111), which would create a new grant program to fund hydrogen infrastructure at ports. We lobbied for changes to the Hydrogen for Ports Act to expand the allowable uses of grant funds and improve the efficiency of the grant program. Support pro-offshore wind provisions in the America COMPETES Act (H.R.4521) and United States Innovation and Competition Act of 2021 (S.1260). We lobbied for the inclusion of port electrification funding in budget reconciliation bills.
