No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act This bill makes a state or political subdivision of a state ineligible for any federal funds that the jurisdiction intends to use to benefit non-U.S. nationals (i.e., aliens under federal law) who are unlawfully present if the jurisdiction withholds information about citizenship or immigration status or does not cooperate with immigration detainers. Specifically, such funds are denied to any jurisdiction that has a law, policy, or practice that prohibits or restricts any government entity from maintaining, sending, or receiving information regarding the citizenship or immigration status of any individual; exchanging information regarding an individual's citizenship or immigration status with a federal, state, or local government entity; complying with a valid immigration detainer from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); or notifying DHS about an individual's release from custody. The funding restriction does not apply to a law, policy, or practice that only applies to an individual who comes forward as a victim of or a witness to a criminal offense. DHS must annually provide to specified congressional committees a list of jurisdictions that have failed to comply with a DHS detainer or have failed to notify DHS of an individual’s release. The funding restriction begins 60 days after the bill's enactment or on the first day of the fiscal year following the bill's enactment, whichever is earlier.

OPPOSE BILL AUTHORIZING FUNDING FREEZES FOR PRO-IMMIGRANT CITIES AND STATES: Letter opposing H.R.32, the "No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act" that would allow the Trump administration to block education, transportation, housing, food aid, public health, crime prevention and many other forms of federal funding for jurisdictions that don't cooperate with ICE requests. INTERIM FINAL RULE (IFR) ON ALIEN REGISTRATION AND EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION: Letter opposing the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) Interim Final Rule on Alien Registration (DHS Docket No. USCIS-2025-0004). This harmful rule revives an outdated and dangerous registration requirement for undocumented immigrants, exposing them to detention, deportation, and even criminal prosecution. The letter makes clear the collective demand of Advocacy Groups to demand that the administration rescind this rule immediately. This rule is part of a long history of anti-immigrant policies that have targeted and terrorized immigrant communities under the guise of registration EXTENSION AND REDESIGNATION OF TEMPORARY PROTECTIVE STATUS (TPS) FOR MYANMAR: Letter calling for an extension and redesignation of TPS for Myanmar. It respectfully urges the Administration to extend and redesignate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Burma. It calls on Secretary Noem to (1) provide an 18-month extension for current TPS holders from Burma, (2) expand the protections to more recently arrived Burmese individuals present in the United States by redesignating Burma for TPS, (3) provide a 180-day registration period for beneficiaries under the redesignation and the current designations extension, and (4) publish a timely notice in the Federal Register to avoid employment disruptions and other hardships that may result from any delays. CHILDREN'S COURT Bill: Endorsed Immigration Court Efficiency & Childrens Court Act that will be re-introduced in the 119th Congress. SOLIDARITY STATEMENT: ON LATEST ENTRY BAN: Expressing Opposition to the Racist Entry Ban from Trump Administration, and Support for Targeted Communities (June 5, 2025). Myanmar and Venezuela were included. NAC signed on after the Unit Leaders of those countries gave their approval for going forward. Both felt that it could only help not harm their sisters and partners. The Statement was shared by the organization SolidarityIs and promoted by the Interfaith Immigration Coalition of the Washington Interfaith Staff Community.
