We will be closely following actions of the House and the Senate as they work to add Congressional legislation to supplement the local and state efforts. Worked in reference to the FY27 Energy and Water Appropriations bill to include funding for Federal efforts to address the aftermath of the Eaton Canyon fire and how some of these funds could be sent to cities in the San Gabriel Valley. The funding would be for protection of the local aquifers from post-fire damage. The bill numbers for funding for this request is located in the Interior and Environment Apprropriations bill of HR 9171, H. Report-119-687, page 245, Representative Cisneros.
