CHN supports The Health Equity & Access under the Law (HEAL) for Immigrant Women and Families Act of 2019 what would remove the legal and policy barriers to health insurance for immigrants. CHN supports the Refugee Protection Act of 2019 that would strengthen legal safeguards for those seeking protection from persecution and violence. CHN supports H.R. 5038, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act of 2019 that would provide an earned path to legal immigration status and citizenship to farmworkers and their families.
